This old elf is feeling incredibly non-elf-like. I feel old and decrepit. I know elves get old, but they are not supposed to get decrepit, ever. Awwhhhh. I ache.
Yesterday I went to play kick-the-can with some friends. A lot more people then I expected turned up, aging between nine or so to post-missionary age. Even four Elders showed up, and stayed for a little while. We played several games for about two and a half hours. I felt older than a lot of the people there, and a lot lazier than just about anyone else. I didn't run nearly as much as some of the others. But by the end of the evening, I was tired. Today, I ache. I'm getting too old for this sort of thing.
Our new Wii fit tells me I'm old too. The fitness age it tells me I have ranges between a few years older to more than twice my age. Of course, when the Wii tells my parents that they are anywhere close to any of the fitness ages the Wii has told me I have, they get excited, 'cause they're older than that. In reality, they're most likely in better shape then I am.
I guess I'm not old yet.

I finally got the comments to work!
Missionaries are a hoot! Our branch finally has a pair and they go to lots of things with our branch too. No kick the can for them, sadly. No church ball either--we don't have a gym.
